    "body": "<p>After an extensive development project, New Port inspired Hotel J opens up another 113 hotel rooms and a meeting room for up to 160 people on 1 September. Furthermore, the hotel will now feature a new &agrave; la carte restaurant with a lounge and bar &ndash; The Club House &ndash; in J&rsquo;s Tornvilla.</p><p>Hotel J, part of the Nobis group, is situated by the harbor inlet at one of Stockholm&rsquo;s most scenic spots with astounding views. &ldquo;Stockholm&rsquo;s Newport&rdquo; offers a combination of high standard and genuine comfort in a marine design and is a popular choice year round.</p><p><em>&ndash; Nacka Strand is one of Stockholm&rsquo;s most amazing places and it&rsquo;s also very close to the city centre. We have a strong belief in the future. With the new extension, the renovation of J&rsquo;s Tornvilla and with a very promising order intake, we are very positive about the future, </em>says Alessandro Catenacci, owner and president of the Nobis group.</p><p><strong>Tornvillan</strong><strong><br>\u200b</strong>Hotel J&rsquo;s Tornvilla is the hub of the &rdquo;new&rdquo; venue. J&rsquo;s Tornvilla features five refurbished meeting rooms, a gym, a breakfast restaurant and a function room. It also houses a new &agrave; la carte restaurant - The Club House &ndash; with seating for 70 guests and a lounge and bar with room for 100 guests. In total, here are more than 1&nbsp;000 square meters of restaurants and meeting places. This will be a natural spot to gather for hotel guests and locals wishing to enjoy good food and refreshing drinks in a beautiful setting. Starting next summer season, The Club House will also feature an outdoor terrace with a view over the inlet to Stockholm&rsquo;s harbor.</p><p><strong>Crossover with a Swedish touch</strong><strong><br>\u200b</strong>Restaurant J&rsquo;s popular food concept has been taken one step further by Stefano Catenacci when creating the concept for the new &agrave; la carte restaurant. The menu teats guests to American crossover cuisine, with dishes like Soft Shell Crab, Red Snapper Saltimbocca and Black Licorice Woppie Pie.</p><p><em>&ndash; The Club House&rsquo;s menu will be composed of American crossover with influences from all over North America. The food will be a perfect complement to the genuine American New England style, to create a cozy feeling and a consistent theme</em>, says Stefano Catenacci, Gastronomic Director of The Club House and the Nobis group.</p><p><strong>New building with hotel rooms and conference space</strong><strong><br>\u200b</strong>The new 113 hotel rooms are situated in a brand new building adjacent to the old part. The red brick house has been designed to harmonize with the existing hotel. The view from all rooms is spectacular and from the twelve terraces belonging to the rooms on the top floor, guests can enjoy sights for miles and miles. The new hotel building also features a spacious meeting room for 160 people and a lounge. The New Port inspired rooms are designed by Peter &Aring;gren from Millimeter Arkitekter.</p><p><strong>Brief about the renovation of J&rsquo;s Tornvilla</strong><strong><br>\u200b</strong>The seven-storey high Tornvillan from 1889 has undergone a thourogh renovation. Interior designers Anna-Johanna Bonnier and Lena Widenfelt have been responsible for the gentle renewal of the interior in order to keep the historic original features of the villa, while adding humour and functionality. Besides larger changes like moving the kitchen to the basement and the installation of an elevator, there have been a lot of smaller transformations of the interior. Carefully selected wallpapers as well as furniture and decorative details in addition to the historic tiled stoves, painted ceilings and beautiful parquet floors create a special feeling.</p><p><em>&ndash; Tornvillan with new The Club House was an interesting challenge and we are very pleased with how we have succeeded in accomplishing the Nobis group&rsquo;s vision of a genuine and luxurious club house setting. The feeling is still here, but the venue now feels contemporary and welcoming</em>, says Anna-Johanna Bonnier, interior designer.</p><p><strong>About Tornvillan &amp; Hotel J</strong><br>\u200bTornvillan was built in 1889 as the magnificent summer residence of wealthy building contractor Erik Fredlundh. It has had many owners since and was left to fall into decay before it undertook a major renovation in the mid 1990s. Are you curious about the name J? J is a sailing term that comes from the designation of a measurement rule used in the 1930s when Sir Thomas Lipton&rsquo;s British gentlemanly fleet faced the American fighting spirit in the America&rsquo;s Cup race.
