Nobis Hotel gets a new award

In the latest issue of Wallpaper* they announced the top seven standouts in their Best Business Hotel contest. Nobis Hotel became as only Scandinavian hotel one of the six runners up after been judged by a prestigious jury. The winner of the Best Business Hotel was Mandarin Oriental in Paris.

In October did internationally renowned Wallpaper* present a shortlist of 37 recently opened business hotels around the globe. Nobis Hotel was the only Scandinavian hotel to be on the list.  Then Wallpaper* put together a prestigious jury of experts and asked them to judge the 37 hotels for their location, design, concierge, service and facilities into consideration, basically everything that design conscious busy executive needs while travelling. The jury was made up of Luca Bassani president of Wally Yachts, Bobby Dekeyser founder of Dedon, Jonny Johansson creative director of Acne, Christian Kurtzke managing director of Meissen, designer Inga Sempé and Marlon Young, CEO of Americas HSBC Private Bank. After judging all the 37 properties Nobis Hotel became one of the six runners up and the winner was Mandarin Oriental in Paris.

- Designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune, the 201 rooms at Nobis Hotel represent the best of modern Swedish style; Arflex desks and Wästberg lamps make working a pleasure. Our judges particularly praised the management suites, which are located in a series of oak-panelled meeting rooms, once part of a bank, while the glamorous Gold bar, with its 28m-high atrium, is the perfect spot for a post-business drink, says Sara Henrichs, Travel Editor at Wallpaper*.
