Nobis Hotel on the world’s leading ‘Hot List’
At an ultimate city-centre location in Stockholm, the new contemporary luxury hotel Nobis Hotel opened up on 1 December 2010. Already honored with several awards and nominations, the hotel now made it on to the most prestigious list of the travel industry, Condé Nast Traveller’s yearly “The Hot List”.
The Hot List 2011 covers 31 countries this year, targeting recently opened venues (from February 2010 to February 2011). The final selection includes 65 hotels world-wide. They have been chosen after months of research among hundreds of nominations and suggestions from Condé Nast Traveller’s international readers on the best new places to stay. The hotels have been selected based on style, design, service level and guest experience as well as a number of other criteria. Nobis Hotel is the only Swedish – and Scandinavian – hotel on the list and is described as “Stockholm’s most glittering hotel”:
”Talk about the best of all worlds: the Nobis has Swedish interiors, Italian food and an American bartender mixing cocktails in the Gold Bar. All this, plus pitch-perfect service and a location on a square in the heart of town have made it the must-stay hotel for both business travellers (the elegant meeting rooms are a legacy from the building's days as a bank) and tourists (it's an easy stroll to the old town and NK department store).”
- We’re very proud, says Claes Anerud, MD. To be selected by Condé Nast Traveller as one of the world’s hottest new hotels feels great. It’s an acknowledgement that we have been successful in creating an attractive concept.
This is the second year in a row that a hotel managed by the Nobis group is selected by Condé Nast Traveller for the Hot List. Last year’s edition included the then recently opened Hotel Skeppsholmen, also designed by award-winning Stockholm-based architects Claesson Koivisto Rune.
