Nobis Hotel serves Max luxurious hamburger with champagne

During the summer season, guests at Nobis Hotel in Stockholm will be presented with a luxurious offer by the hotel’s room service; champagne combined with hamburgers from Max. It’s a unique cooperation between the two Swedish companies, wishing to show that you can form alliances across the trades.

- Both Nobis Hotel and ourselves are two new contenders who focus strongly on quality and service. That is why I like the idea of combining our brands, says Richard Bergfors, MD at Max.

Now Max’s new luxurious Grand de Luxe Cheese ’n’ Bacon is available through Nobis Hotel’s room service in two different package deals. You can either order a bottle of Taittinger Brut NV champagne combined with two hamburgers or a glass of champagne and a burger. That a luxury hotel offers food from a hamburger chain is unique.

- At Nobis Hotel we talk a lot about what defines luxury in 2011. It doesn’t always have to be Russian caviar and lobster, sometimes quite the opposite – and if our guests are in the mood for a burger, we will provide them with the very best, says Claes Anerud, MD at Nobis Hotel. Both Max and ourselves are also fond of challenges and this will be a somewhat different way of cooperation that I believe will be successful.

The cooperation will last from 7 June until 7 August. A bottle of Taittinger Brut NV champagne and two Grand de Luxe Cheese ’n’ Bacon cost 995 Sek. A glass of champagne and a Grand de Luxe Cheese ’n’ Bacon is 295 Sek.

About Max:
Founded in 1968, Max is Sweden’s original hamburger chain. The family-owned chain is market leader and pioneer in low-fat products, and was the first in the industry with ’keyhole-marked’ meals – indicating the fat, sugar and content - and GI burgers. Part of the secret of Max’s success is that customers can order just what they want, and all food is cooked fresh to order. All beef and chicken is Swedish. The company was the first restaurant chain in the world to list the carbon footprint of all its meals, and to offset the climate impact of its whole operation 100% through planting trees in Africa. Sales in 2010 were SEK 1250 million. Max currently has 82 restaurants.

About Nobis Hotel:
