Re-launch of Sweden's most famous hospitality brand
This November, Cafe Opera opens in a new form with management consultants
Patrik Slettman and Paulo Fagundez at the helm. This is the beginning of a long-term
collaboration between the Nobis Group who owns Café Opera, and Patrik & Paulo.
Sweden's most famous nightclub will undergo changes in decor and furniture, but
above all, it is the level of service as well as the guests, that will be in absolute focus.
The reopening takes place during two launch nights: November 8th and 9th.
- It's a dream come true to revamp and manage Café Opera, says Patrik Slettman and
Paulo Fagundez. When talking about moving back to Sweden it was Café Opera with
its amazing heritage and unique facilities that was at the top of our wish list of
venues to work with.
Patrik Slettman and Paulo Fagundez has for the past ten years lived and worked
primarily in the U.S., where they both enjoyed key roles at some of the US top
nightclubs. As time grew, a desire to bring their experience and knowledge back
home to Sweden emerged. Almost exactly a year ago, Patrik and Paulo moved back,
and opened Bergmans nightclub in Stockholm which quickly became a hotspot in
the Stockholm nightlife scene. Some time later the duo began a dialogue with the the
Nobis Group regarding Café Opera.
- This is a long-term commitment from our side, says Abbe Ibrahim, CEO of Opera
Källaren. With the help of Patrik and Paulo's solid experience from the U.S. market
the goal is to continue to deliver a nightclub of a high international standard, says
Abbe.
November 8-9 the doors of Café Opera open for dual opening nights. Furniture and
decor has changed with the help of Martin Ranelid at Grand Bureau, in conjunction
with updated sound and lighting fixtures.
